What is Farm Day Every Day?
Farm Day Every Day is a year-round initiative focused on educating the public about local agriculture and supporting local farms. Expanding on being a one-time event, it serves as an ongoing community outreach and educational program aimed at deepening the public’s understanding of food systems.
Through cost-free food literacy education, the program enhances awareness of where food comes from and how it's produced. Additionally, we work to build capacity for local farms, enabling them to actively participate in these important educational activities, strengthening connections between farms and the communities they serve.
FARM TOURS
The Farm Tours offer an immersive, hands-on learning experience that connects the public directly with local farms. Through these guided tours, participants will explore the diverse landscapes of working farms, gaining insight into sustainable farming practices, crop production, and animal husbandry.

This program utilizes platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Vimeo to deliver educational content, farmer stories, history of farms, and behind-the-scenes looks at farming practices.
FARM DAY KICKOFFS
Santa Barbara & Ventura Counties
Event Locations TBD
The Farm Day Kickoff Event is a celebration that brings together the local community to honor and recognize the hard work of farmers and the vital role agriculture plays in our daily lives. Hosted right before the annual County Farm Day, this event serves as a prelude to the festivities, offering a chance to connect with local farmers and celebrate the hands and lands that feed us all. The event will feature a local farmers' interview panel, where a diverse group of farmers will share their experiences, insights, and challenges in the world of agriculture.

What People Are Saying
“I absolutely loved hearing the stories of farmers. My kids enjoyed learning how their food is grown, and it made them so much more appreciative of our meal we had that night. Thank you so so much for hosting such a great event!”
— 2024 Santa Barbara County Farm Day Attendee
“My favorite thing about Farm Day was meeting the hands that feed us, receiving free local grown produce, seeing farm equipment, and learning about new technologies in the Santa Maria Valley. We will definitely be back next year!
