Caitlin Paulus Case
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Caitlin’s journey with SEEAG began during a summer internship while studying Agricultural Communication at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Upon graduation, Caitlin continued working for SEEAG as a Development Associate, helping organize and execute fundraising events, including Ventura County Farm Day, while also supporting program development.
After graduation, she remained connected with the organization, even from afar, in various roles as she pursued her Master’s of Sustainability Solutions at Arizona State University. It was there, as she dove into the intricacies, histories and inequalities of our food system, that she formed a true understanding of the role nonprofits play in our society. After earning her MSUS degree and being named the Outstanding Graduate Student of the School of Sustainability, Caitlin moved back to Ventura County to rejoin SEEAG as the Ventura County Child Wellness Initiative (VCCWI) Coordinator.
In 2020, she was promoted to Program Director, helping transition and oversee SEEAG’s programs and relief efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. In December of 2020, Caitin and her husband welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Callan, into the world. The following summer, she left SEEAG to care for her newborn son in the wake of such uncertain times. Having the ability to focus full-time on her growing family was a blessing; nearly two years were very well spent at parks, beaches, and traveling to visit family and friends in the mountains of Northern California where she was born and raised.
To return to SEEAG, an organization that has inspired her for nearly a decade, as the Executive Director is an incredible responsibility and opportunity. With a sincere enthusiasm for agricultural sciences and a “learn by doing” attitude, Caitlin is grateful to once again be serving this community. Together, she looks forward to educating, inspiring, and empowering students and one another.
